Raytheon's CIO Receives Industry Honors

Rebecca Rhoads, CIO of Raytheon, has been named the 2008 recipient of the Mass Technology Leadership Council's CIO of the Year award.

Rhoads was selected for her demonstrated leadership, commitment and efforts to drive innovation across Raytheon. She oversees an IT operation that provides services to some 72,000 employees in 51 countries. Other finalists in the category were Nick Ventresca of Charles River Labs, David Kistler of Dynamics Research Corp. and Aaron Weis of Sensata.

Also recognized at the Boston awards gala was Paul English of Kayak.com, who was named CTO of the Year.
